New Advertising and Branding Campaign in U.S.
 
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (January 25, 2016) –Tahiti Tourisme North America recently launched a new integrated advertising campaign and branding campaign.  The creative development of the campaign followed a comprehensive and strategic project run by Tahiti Tourisme who recognized the need to differentiate The Islands of Tahiti from other tropical and island destinations around the world. The campaign will roll out in print and digital channels in the U.S. market and world-wide over the next few months.
 
The campaign focuses around the new tagline “Embraced by Mana,” which strives to illustrate the many sides of The Islands of Tahiti.  Mana is the life force and spirit throughout that connects all living things including the majestic mountains, turquoise waters, white sand beaches and the culture of the Tahitian people. The campaign seeks to expand knowledge and awareness of the Tahitian culture through a storyline of duality. The duality theme highlights the iconic images of the islands but also tell the story of cultural diversity. The islands offer escape and adventure, solitude and togetherness fine hotels and wild terrain.
 
“Not to be lost in the shadow of our more well-known islands such as Moorea and Bora Bora, the new campaign sets the stage to tell the stories of our hidden paradise islands, said Jonathan Reap, Managing Director, Tahiti Tourisme North America. “Mana is something you experience. It lives in the natural beauty and the hearts and minds of Tahitians. Once a visitor explores our islands, it’s a tangible feeling and experience that you will never forget.”
 
The new brand campaign will serve to further build awareness of The Islands of Tahiti and reset and broaden expectations of Tahitian culture as accessible and appealing to potential visitors. The campaign will continue to roll out in the international key markers including Europe, Asia and the Oceania regions.
